In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts go out to those who have lost their lives to COVID-19, and their families and friends who have been affected because of their passing. Our gratitude is with those who have been on the front lines during this pandemic and giving of their time, resources, and energy to allow for others to have their needs be met. While SUVSA cannot do a physical Xuân this year, I am grateful for the work of this year’s Xuân committee to create a website to showcase Vietnamese culture in a different but equally meaningful way.

With the honor of being the President of SUVSA during the 2019-2020 academic year, I have been blessed to work with an extremely loving group of people that has seeked to share and engage with Vietnamese culture, traditions, and stories, not just with the Seattle University community, but also with individuals outside of the Pacific Northwest region. I am thankful to each member for being an integral part of the SUVSA family and making the club possible, and to each officer I worked with for putting a great deal of thought and care into all that we did this year. Thank you for joining SUVSA on this journey of love for our passions, love for our families, and love for our cultures.

Warmly,

Peter Hoang
